Right from the inception of the law, there had been its enemies. To enforce the law, the ruling authorities appointed a protecting force which had to undergo many encounters with the enemies of the law. Some of such encounters are unfolded to you in the story of MANGU DADA.
Singh, the leader of the outlaws, was engaged in smuggling of gold and jewels and he did not hesitate to kill Jeevan, who reported his activities to the police officer Sharma. Kundan, a C.I.D. officer linked this murder to the gang against whom he reported during his investigation Kundan had doubts on Sona, a dancer in a hotel owned by Singh. So to keep an eye on both, Kundan lodged in that hotel.
Singh’s niece Rita was already in love with Kundan and through their meetings, he discovered the true character of Singh Kundan was in search of proofs to arrest Singh, and in the meantime, Singh came to know about Kundan.
By the time Kundan got proofs against Singh, he (Singh) had turned the tables on Kundan with the help of MANGU DADA who resembled the police officer Sharma. How Singh's exploits were brought to book form the basis of hair raising experiences and thrills which you can only get by seeing on the screen.
